Damon Porter has been a proud New Jersey resident since 2003. As a widowed father of one, he lives with his amazing son and enjoys history, documentaries, theater, travel, and sports. Since retiring from the NYPD, he has become a member of his local gym and frequently attends local carnivals, festivals, art shows, and theater productions.
Following his retirement, he knew that the still wanted to do something that would give him the opportunity to continue to serve the public, meet new people, work with his hands, and travel freely throughout the community. Dryer Vent Wizard gives him the opportunity to do all of these things while also educating all his customers on the dangers of dryer fires due to clogged dryer vents. Along with his education efforts, he also donates every month to the National Children's Burn Foundation.
